A Beautiful In-Home Maternity Session with Corey and MacKenzie: Embracing Motherhood in Style

Pregnancy is one of the most transformative and beautiful experiences in a woman’s life. It’s a time filled with excitement, anticipation, and, at times, a little uncertainty. As a photographer, I have the privilege of capturing this incredible journey for couples, and a few years ago, I had the honor of working with Corey and MacKenzie for their in-home maternity session. Their shoot was not only a celebration of impending parenthood of a newborn, but it also reflected their unique personalities, comfort, and style.

From the moment Corey and MacKenzie walked into their home studio, it was clear that this session was going to be special. This couple exuded a sense of love and excitement, which made it a joy to capture their connection.

The Outfits: Comfort Meets Elegance

Corey and MacKenzie’s outfits played a significant role in bringing their vision to life. With several outfit changes throughout the session, each look brought a different vibe and allowed us to tell multiple stories within one photoshoot. MacKenzie wore a flowing, white, off-the-shoulder dress that was both graceful and timeless. The soft, feminine fabric paired beautifully with the serene, cozy vibe of their home. It accentuated her baby bump while allowing her to move freely, and the neutral color palette blended seamlessly with their light-filled living room.

Corey wore a classic neutral shirt and dark jeans—simple yet sophisticated. The subtle elegance of his outfit matched MacKenzie’s dress perfectly, showing how in-home maternity shoots can be just as chic as studio or outdoor sessions. The two of them looked incredible together, their style completely reflecting the love and anticipation they felt for their growing family.

For the next set of outfits, we decided to go for something a bit edgier and fashion-forward. That’s when we introduced the Calvin Klein underwear set. The simplicity of Calvin Klein’s design paired with MacKenzie’s pregnancy glow created a juxtaposition of vulnerability and strength.
